So, you’ve just ordered your first bottle of CBD tincture. You’ve been enjoying a few drops in your morning tea or coffee, maybe a few drops more in your bedtime glass of water, and you’re liking how it makes you feel. That’s wonderful…but now you’re wondering, “what else can I do with these tincture drops?”

The answer is “plenty!” You’ve already landed on the most obvious – things you drink every day like tea, coffee, water, juice, soft drinks, etc. But you don’t need to stop there. Expand your tincture world and your enjoyment of CBD in a variety of ways. Here are just a few ideas.

Cocktails and Mocktails

Elevate your evening cocktail or mocktail while adding a splash of health benefits with a few drops of CBD tincture. You can simply add the tincture to your go-to adult beverage, or try some of the CBD-infused cocktail recipes we’ve already put together for your sipping pleasure! Enjoy a CBD Moscow Mule or CBD Cranberry Margarita. They’re delicious and have that added CBD goodness. And as always: enjoy your CBD cocktails in moderation!

Drop Some in Your Food

If you haven’t thought about adding a few droplets of CBD tincture to your chicken noodle or tomato soup, think again. It’s really easy to work CBD into your day when you look at your food as a vehicle for using your tinctures. While it may not be the best thing to put on top of your turkey sandwich, it’s easy to add to a host of foods, like:

  • Whole-grain salads
  • Soups
  • Pesto
  • Spaghetti sauce
  • Yogurt
  • A bowl of cereal or oatmeal
  • Pancake batter
  • Smoothies
  • Guacamole! Olé!

The only limit is your imagination.

If sweets are your jam, use this yummy CBD Peppermint Cookie recipe as inspiration when making these or your own. While this recipe doesn’t use tincture drops, you can certainly swap out the CBD tea in the icing for CBD drops, and voilà! You just kicked icing up a notch. One obvious thing to make: brownies. All the hemp goodness, none of the THC silliness!

An important note: when baking with CBD tinctures and oils, keep your temperature at or below 350°F as higher temps can lower CBD’s effectiveness. When cooking, try to keep the tincture out of direct heat. If using in making sauteed veggies, for example, don’t saute the veggies directly in hot tincture in the pan; instead, sprinkle the tincture on the finished veggies.

Make Your Own CBD Gummies!

Bet you never thought of this one, but we did! We used a fun hemp-leaf mold for ours, but you can use any shape mold you’d like to make these fun and paleo/keto-friendly CBD gummies. Just pop one or two in your mouth for a little CBD pick-me-up any time of day.

As you can see, the things you can mix your CBD tinctures with are nearly limitless. If you’re still discovering what amount of CBD works for you, always start with just a very few drops and see how it affects you as CBD affects everyone differently. Enjoy discovering all the ways you can use CBD to live your best, all-natural life!
